Introducing Qureight
Qureight is a Cambridge-based, end-to-end imaging company on a mission to accelerate clinical trials. Its AI-powered platform provides enterprise-grade imaging and precision endpoints for the biopharmaceutical industry, helping customers bring treatments to market faster. The platform manages the full imaging workflow across global trial sites, from data ingestion and anonymisation through to central reads and regulatory-grade analytics, across therapeutic areas including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, progressive pulmonary fibrosis, bronchiectasis and pulmonary hypertension.
Qureight's products include: global imaging CRO services to improve image handling and support rapid site onboarding and patient inclusion decisions; proprietary AI lung image biomarkers that quantify disease progression in clinical trials; and data science products including synthetic control arms, which enable comparisons to real trial arms to reduce study costs and duration.
The company’s biopharma customers have been asking for real-time insights and precision endpoints across a number of fibrotic lung diseases.

The team, led by Dr Muhunthan Thillai, combines world-class clinical expertise with the engineering and commercial capability to scale. Dr. Inga Deakin will join Qureight's board as part of this investment.

What Qureight plans to do with the funding
The $20m Series B was led by Molten Ventures, with existing investors Hargreave Hale AIM VCT, XTX Ventures, Guiness Ventures, Meltwind, and Ascension also participating.
The company is building a dedicated AI imaging laboratory to house Qureight's 3D chest imaging foundation model. This will significantly reduce both the data requirement and the time needed to develop new disease models, allowing the company to bring new products to market in areas where there is high demand for advanced imaging analytics: asthma, pulmonary hypertension, bronchiectasis and drug-induced lung toxicity. These new disease models will complement Qureight's existing work in lung fibrosis and expand the company's reach across the clinical trials market.
