Malcolm is joining Molten as a Partner on the Secondaries team. He spent over a decade at Octopus Ventures, where he helped scale the platform from £100 million to £1.5 billion in assets under management across 140 companies, making it one of the largest early stage teams in Europe. Malcolm led 14 investments at Octopus, including ManyPets, Vitesse, Opensignal (acquired by Comlinkdata), Flock (acquired by Admiral) and ByMiles (acquired by Direct Line), and rose to become the Lead Fund Manager of the listed Titan VCT fund. Prior to Octopus, Malcolm spent five years in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and GP Bullhound. Malcolm is a graduate of Lancaster University.
