Draper Esprit is pleased to be participating in Series C, $87 million fundraise round in ICEYE, a World-leading Synthetic-Aperture Radar (SAR) data provider. Our participation in the Series C round follows on from our investment in ICEYE’s $34 million Series B in May 2018.
ICEYE builds and operates its own commercial constellation of radar imaging satellites, with SAR data available to global customers since 2018. The company intends to use this financing round to continue accelerating the growth of its SAR satellite constellation with more spacecraft, increasing data availability for all continents through 24/7 customer operations, continuing the developments of ground-breaking radar imaging capabilities and for establishing spacecraft manufacturing in the US.
