Concretene

Using graphene to decarbonise construction.
Concretene is a graphene-enhanced admixture for concrete, engineered to improve performance and reduce carbon footprint.
The technology refines the microstructure of concrete, significantly increasing compressive, tensile and flexural strength, reducing curing periods, microcracking and permeability.
Based in the new Sister Innovation District in central Manchester, the company is scaling production to industrial volumes and working with leading concrete suppliers such as Cemex and Roger Bullivant on new, lower-carbon concrete products.
